COMEDK UGET 2020: The consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka has recently declared that the COMEDK 2020 UG Entrance Test will be held on June 26, 2020.
Mr Shailendra Maheshwari, Academic Director of Career Point asserted that all the examination body has allowed extension in the correction facility due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the same has been done for the COMEDK UGET 2020. The authority has allowed changing the test city preference in the online application forms of the students from on 1st June (12 pm onwards) to 3rd June (till 4 pm).
The last date to apply for COMEDK UGET 2020 has also been extended. Now the students can apply till 30 May through the official website- www.comedk.org. Previously, COMEDK UGET 2020 was scheduled to be conducted on May 10, 2020.
The papers of COMEDK UGET 2020 will be of three-hour duration and it will be organised in two shifts. The first shift from 9 am to 12 noon and then the second shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. It will be conducted in the CBT mode (computer-based examination)
The official website mentions that in order to maintain the safety measures the helpline number will remain closed. However, the students can send their queries at studenthelpdesk@comedk.org.
Mr Maheshwari, says that earlier it was conducted for the medical and engineering colleges of Karnataka. But after the merger of all the pre-medical examinations of India into NEET, now the body conducts this examination for engineering courses. Currently, it is conducted to decide the admissions to BTech programmes offered by 153 engineering colleges of Karnataka.
